The expression Do Not Feed The Trolls is based on the established fact that trolls don't hang around in newsgroups
where they don't get many people to respond to them .
Trolls have always been part of newsgroups

divide and conquer tatics vioiates establishes policies create class envy encourages dissent makes self savior posts under many aliases.
Goal: Plant seeds of soubt. Show regulars in bad light. Distrupt, anger, inflame and cause unrest to change or destory group.
